MESH and Indian School of Business, Hyderabad

During a visit to Hyderabad MESH Executive Secretary was invited to give a presentation about Fair Trade to student members of the Net Impact Club at the prestigious Indian School of Business. The Fair Trade Movement was unknown to most of those present and the discussion on whether it was a passing fad or a sustainable different way of doing business led to some interesting debate.

One sensible and simple suggestion was that the fair trade movement in India list what products are available where so that companies can consider if there is anything they need which can be bought from fair trade sources. So why haven't we all thought of that?!

We hope to have the opportunity to sell at the school from time to time to students or visiting international conference delegates.
