Christmas Cake in the Colony

MESH team were out distributing Christmas cake in Bharat Mata Kusht Ashram today, which is one of the leprosy communities that supplies MESH with woven products. The cakes were a gift from The St. Vincent De Paul Society working out of Assumption Forane church, Mayur vihar Phase-3 here in Delhi.
I love the expressions on the faces of some of the children receiving the cake it look as if they are just checking to see if anyone has a bigger piece.
Gurappa, the long time leader of the community died a week or so ago, he was a very strong leader bringing the community from begging and rag picking to independence, he will be sorely missed.
